Bagism is a brand founded by designer Marjel van Tilborg. When she received the offer to take over a renowned bag workshop she took the opportunity. The last of this generation of bag manufacturers - started in 1928 - taught her all the ins and outs of the craft and since 2008 she has been building the Bagism brand at a sustained pace.

For Marjel, designing is a way to express her creativity in the most natural way. The bags have been very well received by an international competition of design experts. They are available at the Museum of Art and Design in New York and selected design shops in the Netherlands and Belgium.

​Attached to the atelier is a shop where the entire Bagism collection is available as well as a carefully curated selection of products by other brands.

Occasionally contemporary art projects are organised in a part of a shop space under the name Inside Bagism.
